I travelled back from Vienna today. The flight over and back was flown on ‘Austrian’ and was my first time with them. I noticed something… all rows of seats were labelled. 1… 2… 3… 4… all except row 13! What is that about?
Anyway, the route taken by this plane when it approached London was different to other London bound flights I have experienced earlier. This one came in around Clacton and rather than heading in toward the Thames, it stayed over North London.. Wembley Stadium was quite clear on my left hand side.. and it continued to around Slough before taking a wide turn and passing over Windsor Castle before finally landing at Heathrow.
I am always intrigued by aerial views when coming in to land. Today was spectacular. a bit like the other day when coming in to land at Lisbon, with heavy rain and stormy weather… and then I spot a beautiful rainbow in the clouds. Spectacular!
On to today’s photo. It was taken this morning in Vienna, and my strategy is to get a bit of a stubble before I start shaping some sort of moustache from it. As you can see, my facial hair does grow slowly, so another day or two of growing the stubble and I will then start shaping the moustache.
I hope you can support my “Mo” growth by donating (even if it is just £1 / $1 / €1) to the Prostate Cancer charity via my Mo Space at

Until tomorrow…
