Woke up to another -2 degrees centigrade morning with low cloud and frost covering everything in sight… this time it lingered at that temperature until at least mid morning and then warmed up quite a bit to 1 degree centigrade. 😉

Some business needed attending to in London, so off I went, suitably attired to combat the cold… or so I thought. Once out in the open, in the centre of London, I felt the chill. The cold seeping through my thick clothes, oh and I forgot to wear a hat! The cold reminded me of my time in Vancouver, one December a number of years ago. Brrr.

Still, I enjoyed it. I was outside, walking, taking in the fresh air.

Once the business was over, it was time to relax a bit and I decided to stroll a bit… at the time it seemed like a good idea to go down to Oxford Street. Little did I know that today was supposed to be the busiest day there due to it being the last weekend of November and today was designated as some special day for Christmas shoppers… the whole of Oxford Street was closed off to traffic and all you could see for miles were people! Take a look…

There were various well known brands and companies who had set up temporary stalls all the way up and down Oxford Street and Regent Street, giving away freebies or coupons for special offers. Some of the department stores and large shops has “shows” going on in their windows… fashion shows, dance shows. Quite interesting.

The nice thing for me though was seeing the way the shops were decorated, the window dressings, and of course the Christmas lights all the way down Oxford Street and Regent Street. The crowds did not bother me.

On to the Mo update…

Today’s photo… did not get a chance to attend to the tidying up of my moustache.. now postponed until tomorrow…

Only three more days remaining in the month of Movember… so please put your hands in your pockets and donate whatever you can to this cause. Thanks to those of you who are already supporting me in this. As of this evening, £559 has been raised via my Mo Space 🙂 I would like to raise my target to £1000. All help with this will be appreciated.

I hope more of you can support my ‘Mo’ growth by donating (even if it is just £1 / $1 / Eur 1) to the Prostate Cancer charity via my Mo Space at
