Movember 2011… Day 8 & 8 weeks later…

Home, UK          Tuesday 8 November, 2011          11.30pm GMT

Donations for Movember gladly accepted at http://uk.movember.com/mospace/789888

Can you see it? Can you see the shape.. a bit like the Nike “Swoosh”? 🙂 Well.. it is still part of my plan to keep my options open as I still have not decided on the moustache I will end up with, but as you can see it is getting there.. slowly but surely. 🙂

Thanks to generous donations, the running total now stands at £80. I am looking for more.. heh.

I hope more of you can support my “Mo” growth by donating (even if it is just £1 / $1 / €1) to the Prostate Cancer charity via my Mo Space at

More tomorrow.

And the next topic.. it has been 8 weeks since my life changed completely… in a most fantastic way. My posting exactly 8 weeks ago will give you an idea of what I am talking about.

The song lyrics (from the 1980s Hindi film Yaarana, sung on screen by Mr Amitabh Bachchan, playback singing by Kishore Kumar) below have been in my mind for a few weeks now and I thought this was an apt opportunity to relay them.. 8 weeks and each day is different, and each day is better and newer than the previous one.

Transliterated into English:

Chhookar Mere Mann Ko

Chookar mere man ko, Kiya tuney kya ishara

Badla yeh mausam, Lagey pyara jag saara

Tu jo kahe jeevan bhar, Tere liye main gaaoon

Geet tere bolon pe, Likhta chala jaaoon

Mere geeton mein, Tujhe dhoonde jag saara

Chookar mere man ko, Kiya tuney kya ishara

Aaja tera aanchal yeh, Pyaar se main bhar doon

Khushiyan jahan bhar ki, Tujhko nazar kar doon

Tu hi mera jeevan, Tu hi jeene ka sahara

Translation into English (although the real meaning gets lost in the translation):

By touching my soul

What kind of gesture have you made by touching my soul

The season changed and the whole world now looks beautiful

If you say, I will sing for you for the rest of my life

I can continue writing songs based on what you utter

In my songs, the whole world looks for you

What kind of gesture have you made by touching my soul

Come, I will fill your spread scarf with love

I will show you the world of happiness

You are my life, you are who gets me through life

And with that folks, I bid thee a good night…
